Mistaking Love for Hate
Some would say that a loving God would not send people to hell. First let me say, God does not send anyone to hell. We do that for ourselves by rejecting the Son of God Who is Jesus the Christ.
Hell was not created for mankind, it is for the devil and those who fell with him as he desired to exalt himself above God. At The White Throne Judgement those who deny Christ will be finally judged.
The false teachers and the false teachers who entice with immoral behavior:
2PE 2:18 For they mouth empty, boastful words and, by appealing to the lustful desires of sinful human nature, they entice people who are just escaping from those who live in error.
19 They promise them freedom, while they themselves are slaves of depravity - for a man is a slave to whatever has mastered him. Homosexual activists and those who promote this behavior tell lies by telling others that their behavior is alright and get laws changed to have special rights in spite of what God has made clear in His Word.
Depravity is following our animal instincts like beasts rather than accepting the responsibility of humans created in God's image. Depravity applies to false religious leaders belonging to the community of faith (v 1). Depravity is not a momentary state but a continual sin binge. Depravity claims to offer total freedom but produces absolute slavery, making instinctual beasts out of spiritual persons. Depravity leads to the bitterest condemnation and judgment.
And what about the politician or the business that caters to them?? Verse 10 Yet these men speak abusively against whatever they do not understand; and what things they do understand by instinct, like unreasoning animals - these are the very things that destroy them.
11 Woe to them! They have taken the way of Cain; they have rushed for profit into Balaam's error; they have been destroyed in Korah's rebellion.
16 These men are grumblers and faultfinders; they follow their own evil desires; they boast about themselves and flatter others for their own advantage.
Unless they repent they will meet with eternal destruction.
Rev. 17:8 The beast, which you saw, once was, now is not, and will come up out of the Abyss and go to his destruction. The inhabitants of the earth whose names have not been written in the book of life from the creation of the world will be astonished when they see the beast, because he once was, now is not, and yet will come.
Spirits of demons were enabled to do signs. Their purpose was to enlist forces to oppose God. Punishment and defeat were certain. This was symbolized by a destructive hail storm. Satanic power causes great suffering; God's power effects redemption.
Rev. 16:19 The great city split into three parts, and the cities of the nations collapsed. God remembered Babylon the Great and gave her the cup filled with the wine of the fury of his wrath.
REV 17:2 With her the kings of the earth committed adultery and the inhabitants of the earth were intoxicated with the wine of her adulteries."
3 Then the angel carried me away in the Spirit into a desert. There I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that was covered with blasphemous names and had seven heads and ten horns.
4 The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, and was glittering with gold, precious stones and pearls. She held a golden cup in her hand, filled with abominable things and the filth of her adulteries.
5 This title was written on her forehead: MYSTERY BABYLON THE GREAT THE MOTHER OF PROSTITUTES AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
So you see even though the evil is getting more and more evil it will not overpower God. He will have the last say and His followers will have victory. With these truths I am called a hater. Yet it is not I who hate but the name caller for they hate the truth that can set them free.
No, my friend I do not hate the homosexual I just refuse to soften the word of God but will always stand on the Rock that is higher than I. Really, the ones who hate you are the ones who keep telling you that what you do is alright, and they make you feel safe from the laws of the world, this is not love.
I want you to tell me, When you stand before our creator, God, what will you say then? Who will you blame for what He says to you. What will you say about your decisions? Your choices? I do not hate you, in fact I love you so much that I want to see you in eternity saying that you read the word of God and found truth to be worth more than your sin.
